Our arrival in Pader a couple weeks ago was a difficult one. We came back to a community in mourning for our friend Eunice, the daughter of our Parish Reverend, who was killed by a jealous man the night before we made the drive from Kampala to Pader. It left the whole town reeling. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with Reverend's family. Please, if anyone reading this could also do the same.
For perhaps everyone except Reverend and his wife, life has gone back to "normal". We ourselves have expunged our house of 3.5 months of dust, cobwebs, and gecko poop! We went down to Kampala again for a few days to retrieve our colleague Tom, and now we've been in Pader full-time for a week and a half.
We have taken very few pictures! For example, we don't as of yet have any team pictures with Rev Patrick, the CHE Coordinator, nor do we have any pictures of our CHE visit to Patongo. We'll try to do better!
So here is a random set of photos, representing our "settling in" time, back here in Pader.
