The situation dictates a mass update - when quantity is better than quality!
Here are the broad strokes of what has happened in the past 2 months...
Happy 30th birthday to our favourite "Mango"! (office nickname)
Our next Alpha endeavour is to produce a set of Alpha videos in the Acholi language, that can be distributed to churches for use here in Pader (and beyond, who knows!?).
The seedlings are healthy and growing well!
We spent a lovely couple hours at Pastor Donato's home, eating delicious food and hearing about God's amazing provision for their ministry. May God bless the feet of those who bring good news....
They were welcomed back warmly by our staff, and by our group from Pagor. The Pagor group members largely consist of men and women formerly abducted by the Lord's Resistance Army. Paul and Anita recognized some of the group members from years ago, when they had just escaped from the bush. They were overjoyed to see them grown, healthy, and finding happiness again in life.
We also thank God it happened while Paul and Anita were here, so that we had a free tow to Lira to get it fixed. When Mike picked it up, we could hardly believe our eyes. Kudos to the panel beaters!
We're welcoming the Agago group back this coming Sunday, for TOT2!
