We're still behind on ministry related posts, but here's a shorter post on life with Elias -- with lots of pictures, because who can resist cute pictures of babies? Isn't that (and cute cat/dog pictures) pretty much what the internet is about? Ever since we brought Elias home in May of this year, we've had a lot of visits to make! So many people for him to meet, and so many new things to experience. He has met tall people and small people: He has visited friends from the big city of Kampala to rural villages: Sometimes what we thought was a private family visit has turned into a whole church delegation! One time the children we visited thought Elias should meet all of the stuffed animals: But by far the visit that we were most excited about recently was the visit back to Amecet, the home where we are adopting Elias from. We passed through Soroti just over a week ago, on our way back from Kampala, and it was such a joy to see the staff there and to have them see Elias after almost six months in our home. They were very excited to see Elias again, and remarked on how big he is. He enjoyed playing with the other children, including Jackson (who slept in the bed next to Elias when they he was still at Amecet), and seeing all of the staff. Two of the "aunties" particularly enjoyed seeing Elias, as he was their favourite when he was there! Elias brings such joy to our lives, and it has been a joy to visit others with him and let his (almost always) smiling face bring joy to others as well. Maybe these pictures can bring a bit of joy to your day! :)
