After visiting with Mike's brother's family and taking a nap for a couple hours, we drove to Pitt Meadows in our Fiat to see Marianne's cousin and his wife. We had a lovely visit, staying for the weekend. On the Saturday, we headed to the Runway Cafe (at the little airport in Pitt Meadows - which is a really nice little community) for some coffee, and ended up staying for lunch, taking advantage of their $15 sandwich (which served all four of us!!).
This is the second post about our BC vacation. After lunch we headed to the little town of Harrison Hot Springs, stopping at some nice farms on the way, which featured hazelnuts, cheese, and pottery (great nutritional value!). Harrison Hot Springs was a bit chilly until the sun came out, but there were some amazing views, and a beautiful surprise roadside waterfall! Thanks to Marianne's cousin and his wife for the great visit!
