We started at 10 AM at the Catholic Church, and made our way to each of the remaining 13 stations of the cross through town, until we finished at the Mayor's Gardens at 3 PM.
We also stopped at the home of our Reverend, whose daughter was killed in March. It was a really touching sign of respect among the whole Christian community in Pader.
The most amazing thing happened at the end of the walk. A major emphasis of the day had been about unity among the Christian churches.
After each of the pastors and priests had spoken, Rev. Robinson closed the walk with prayer. As he concluded, all of the pastors and priests put up their hands and said, "In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit."
Then, exactly when everybody said "AMEN!", a sun shower erupted.
Truly, we believe it pleased the Lord to see His people, under different churches, coming together to remember what He did for all of us!
