Our vision is "Churches as Christ's hands and feet to support all people affected by HIV and AIDS to live positively and free from stigma, and to work towards a generation of an HIV and AIDS free society."
The name Arise and Shine AIDS Mission Uganda is inspired by Isaiah 60:1, a verse that was shared by the Archbishop when he visited Pader, as an encouragement that Pader District is rising out of the dark time of war, and now coming into a time to shine.
